I am an early career Scientist and Science Communicator pursuing my PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Bordeaux, France. My work revolves around trying to understand how attention shapes perception at the neuronal level. I am perplexed by how brains can compute and process simple sensory information and then how it gives rise to complex behaviour and all of this in organisms that are so different and diverse from one another
In Science Communication, I have worked with organisations such as the Maison pour la science en Aquitaine bringing science to local schools and The Science Basement, where I was the Editor-in-Chief of the project Blogging Science and a host and editor of the TSB Podcast.
I am an amateur diver and photographer as well as a language enthusiast.
